At Our Lady of Grace, our mission is to form a culture of enduring faith. We know that in order to become a Catholic with a faith that lasts, we must connect ourselves to the real ways that God tangibly reaches out for us by fully participating in the Sacramental life. In the Sacraments, we discover a gift from God that allows for habitual conversion of our hearts. The foundation for life as a Catholic disciple is a lasting commitment to the Sacraments.
Because of this vital nature of the Sacraments to our enduring faith, we ask parishioners of Our Lady of Grace to spend a good deal of time preparing young people for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. We take our time and allow families the opportunity to form strong foundations with God and one another.
First Grade & Second Grade
We welcome young people to begin preparation for First Reconciliation and First Communion as early as 1st Grade. Each student will have a two-year preparation period to form them and their family to receive the graces of these Sacraments. Not only is formation for students, but we ask families to be part of the process as their influence as faith leaders is crucial for lifelong faith.

Habits of Holiness: Sacramental Accountability
At Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, we are striving to form a culture of enduring faith, and this means we must partner with families to prepare their children to put God first in their lives. One of the best times to work toward this enduring faith is as young people are preparing to receive their first Sacraments. With this goal in mind, we utilize the Habits program to partner with families in making Sunday Mass an integral part of their lives.
